	NOMINATION:STEPHEN GOULD AS CHAIR FLINDERS SPECIAL OLYMPICS

Further to the recent SOA Meeting Sat 31 Oct 2015 I have reviewed the summary
Information provided to me by email by Stephen GOULD who attended the meeting
as the stand-in Treasurer

I am nominating Stephen GOULD as Chairman and provide his credentials for 
consideration by the Flinders Committee and Special Olympics Australia [SOA] who
have to conduct Police Checks as part of the Australian Sports Commission [ASC] 
Governance Process 

Stephen has provided the following evidence of his capacity and capabilities to act
as the Chair of SOA Flinders for the next 2 years

A	1972-1982 he served as a Volunteer on the Management Committee
	of the Old Hamptonian Rugby Football Club acting as the Club Captain
	for 4 years before he was transferred to Australia by his Company {Att A}

B	1986	Member of the Australian Small Business Association [ASBA] 
	Management Committee and the ASBA Representation on Standards
	Australia recently formed EDI IS//11 Committee {Att B}

C	1990	Joint Venture with the British Standards Institute [BSI] to survey 
	and advise on the Committee Structure of BSI which distributed 14,000,000 
	pieces of paper per annum

D	1994-   Secretary and Public Officer of the Open Interchange Consortium

E	1996-1997	Secretary of the OIC Formation Committee

F	1999	Information Architect of an Internet Application which won 1st 
	Prize in the "IT for SME" Category of the Global Bangemann Challenge and the 
	trophy as presented by the King of Sweden

G	2001	Named Consultant by the Federal Department of Employment,
	Workplace Relations and Small Business [DEWRSB] to develop and conduct 
	a series of On-line Surveys with 173 NSW Councils   

H	2005-2008	Team Manager and Year Co-ordinator for Junior Soccer
	Club which required Checks with Children for all Team Managers & Coaches

I	Developed On-line Volunteer Management System with local business 
	sponsorship a Junior Sports Football Club which had 1,400 junior players 

J	2008-	Public Officer of the Sustainability Action Network [SAN] which fielded 
	3 Candidates for the 2008 Mosman Council Elections 

K	2011-	Secretary the eHealth Training Services Consortium [EHTSC]

Flinders AGM Sat 07 Nov 2015
